imgnovo began with a single frustration: a 5 MB photo slowing a page down for no good reason. Compression tools should be instant, private and obvious — not a chain of uploads to some server you'll never see again.
What the tool does

Why it runs in your browser
Keeping everything local is not a gimmick; it is the point. No image is uploaded, so there is no limit on file count, no privacy question about a folder of personal photos, and no round-trip waiting. It also means the tool stays free and works while your connection is slow.
The trade we accept
Local processing trades a little convenience for privacy and speed. We don't offer cloud thumbnail pipelines or server-side resampling — the guides on this site cover the standard web workflow instead, and the compressor covers the compression itself.
